Jolly Jumper Sneak a Peek

All these cutesy named products I didn’t know existed until she came along and now they are arriving fast and furious. One of the latest to arrive at our doorstep is a cover for the baby seat.

I bought this vs other car seat covers because it was priced just over $20.00 compared to the other colors that at the time were priced at almost twice as much so it was a no-brainer.

Apparently these are great when carrying the baby around in the car seat in the winter as the baby is still easy to get to, but it keeps the child warm and is much easier to manage than a plain blanket thrown over the car seat which can slip and be a trip hazard.

The model I bought is fleece lined and seems to be well designed. I haven’t tried it out yet because SP is still in the NICU but I hope by the end of the month I can bring her home where she belongs.

LeachCo Podster Infant Sling and Lounger

baby not included

This was gifted to us from a very generous friend of BW’s that I have never met actually, but with his gift note he said that this was indispensable for his kids so I hope that it holds true for SP as well.

We now have two of these baby loungers so I hope she gets use out of them when she gets to come home otherwise, the dog will get a few more dog beds. B

Today's Outfit

p is for purple.

I still have no idea who, how or where these clothes are coming from that she’s wearing but today’s clothing is a little lavender number with daisies printed on them.

Our little flower is doing well. She’s eating and sleeping like she should be and growing. She is slowly getting the hang of the bottle and will have it down in no time I hope. Apparently, the suck/swallow/breathe thing is one of the hardest parts for having a preemie.

More good news is she no longer has jaundice and no longer has to go under the lights to help get rid of it. The nurses at the NICU would put on eye protectors to shield her from the bright lights, but she hated her sunglasses and would always take them off.
