In an earlier life, this site was (and the domain still fowards to) ramseeker.com but the demand for memory upgrades has diminished to the point where it wasn’t worth it to write about ram upgrades. I still write the odd time about tech but for the most part I have a new passion to write about: Babies!
It seems there is one on the way:
and I know that there’s going to be more than one adventure I want to write about so that’s what I am up to. I am also very curious to how much stuff it takes to raise a kid to 18 so I’m tracking the stuff that comes in the house in regards to this new person we’re making.
At the time of writing this there’s still months to go and yet the stuff is already started to arrive , so I am guessing that I will never have anything not to write about because I guess that stuff will enter the house almost daily.
It’s been said that it takes almost a quarter of a million dollars to raise a child to 18. I really don’t want to know the total spend but it would be interesting to see how much crap we go through in a lifetime.
Another reason for the change in content is that I managed to snag this groovy personal domain name that’s easy to remember. It’s not a .com but I don’t think that matters as much as it once did when it comes to readers finding me.
To quote Lou Reed
this is the beginning of a great adventure.
